Novalie's hanging in there
Submitted by Thanh and Kathy on Thu, 08/05/2010 - 11:14am
As far as me, I'm a bit fatigued. It's hard to believe that we've been living in the hospital for 11 weeks. Novalie hasn't smelled fresh air or played outside in almost 3 months! Whew! This is getting tough.
Novalie is the picture of strength. She's truly incredible. She directs her care with the nurses. It's her way or the highway! I can't blame her really. She takes her own temperature, puts on the leads for the cardiac monitor, and puts on the pulse oximeter all by herself. (with nursing supervision of course) And she's a pro with all the tests performed.
She's certainly tougher than me.
Love, Kathy

hanging in there!
Hi Kathy,
We're all thinking about you and sending our good vibes and prayers. Use Novalie's strength to get you through and when she needs that bit of extra patience and understanding, you will be there! as always! Thanks for keeping us updated on what's going on down there.
God bless,
The Kocher family

Hi, all!
I was just thinking of you guys and hoping you're seeing some progress in everything at the hospital. Novalie is so strong (body and spirit)! I hope there are lots of fun times there together in between all the doctor visits and monitoring. We miss you guys back home and hope to see you all very, very soon.
